A device for simulating climbing includes a pair of side frames each of which has a pair of upper legs into which a pair of lower legs are telescoped. A horizontal platform is connected to the upper legs whereby the effective height of the platform may be adjusted by the degree of telescoping of the lower legs into the upper legs.
